One of the most elegant and sought after residential areas of the City of Atlanta lies just to the north of downtown. This area, commonly known as the Buckhead section of the city, is a stately area of rolling hills, azaleas, immaculate landscaping, and beautiful homes designed in a traditionally Southern architecture. Over a number of years, I became familiar with the area in visiting relatives that were fortunate to live there. To this day, the names of the roads that traverse this region, Paces Ferry Road, Andrews Drive, Habersham Road and Habersham Way, conjure up an area of genteel refinement in their different architectural styles and thoughtful details.

To evoke this elegant yet relaxed lifestyle in a northern climate, Habersham Homes was formed by Paul T. Keyser and Michael Casper architect. While there are number of builders in the middle to upper end market, it was felt that there were few homes being built that reflected this restrained Buckhead elegance within a framework of open floor plans that are popular today.
